由南山小学和GoMind举办的第二届全国小学方块精灵锦标赛顺利在9月3日 （星期六）举行。各校方块精灵高手济济一堂，首先是合作拼字。让各校同学在同桌一起合作，在限时内拼出最多的字。 过后再展展开龙争虎斗。希望能以技术加上一点运气，快速胡牌，累计最高分数！争夺锦标！

2nd National ArithmetEQ Challenge Results!
ArithmetEQ Teams from Pasir Ris Crest Secondary, Anglo Chinese School, Northland Secondary and Commonwealth Secondary took the top 4 spot of the 2nd National ArithmetEQ Challenge!
2nd National ArithmetEQ Champion from Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School. Congratulation!
1st Runner-Up Anglo Chinese School (Barker Road) ArithmetEQ Team with Teachers-in-charge.
2nd Runner-Up Northland Secondary also clinched 9th spot. The only school that made in double in this year challenge. Impressive!
Commonweath Secondary School came in 4th with the winning ArithmetEQ Team showing off the ArithmetEQ Game Set they have won.

- The Challenge was more intense than the 1st Challenge in 2008. The winning teams won with record breaking 487 marks! Many teams had put in extra effort in preparing for the Challenge.
We are very privileged to have Professor Berinderjeet Kaur (left in pic) from NIE with us to grace the event and she was very pleased with the morning’s proceedings and enjoyed herself very much as well. Special thanks to MDM NG NGOING KENG (right in pic), Principal Yishun Secondary School, Yishun staffs led by Mrs. Phua Lee Hoon (HOD Maths), Mr. Chang Fook Yong (whom I work very closely with this year.) Mrs. Simmi, Ms. Jacqueline Tan, all supporting staffs and Yishun students who have the heavy responsibility as umpire. Without the support and hard work of the Yishun staffs and students, the challenge wouldn’t have been possible! Many thanks!
- The feedback from participants and teachers-in-charge have been very encouraging. This year Challenge has been a success! We look forward to see you again in 2012.

2nd ArithmetEQ Challenge 2010 Photo Gallery
139 ArithmetEQ Teams from 47 Schools compete for the Top 10 Positions. The Challenge was intense but fun. Most important friendship were foster and they have put their maths skill in good use. Gomind present to you the action for the day in our Photo Gallery for the 2nd ArithmetEQ Challenge 2010.
